Two years ago, a single bee sting put me in the hospital for three days. I carry two EpiPens everywhere. Then a widowed beekeeper moved onto the farm next to mine in Cache Valley, Utah, a hailstorm wrecked her hives, and she needed a strong pair of hands for one summer.
